鉄の丸棒を叩いて作り、木の枝をモチーフとしたドアハンドル。
このハンドルの最大の特徴は、彫刻家のはっとりこうへい氏が手掛けた、特殊な表面の彩色技法である。
多重に色を塗り重ね、彫刻刀で塗装部分を彫り出していく。
彫り出された色彩は、近づいて見ると繊細で鮮やかな色の地層。
離れて見れば混ざり合って産まれた新しい色を見出す事ができる。
そして毎日握る部分は時間の経過と共に少しずつ色が剥げていき、彫刻刀で彫られた表情とはまた異なった、緩やかな色の地層が表出していくだろう。
Color growing door handle

A door handle made by hitting an iron round bar with a tree branch as a motif.
The most distinctive feature of this handle is the special coloring technique created by the sculptor Hattori Kohei.
Colors are applied multiple times, and the painted part is carved out with a chisel.
The carved colors look like a delicate and vivid stratum when viewed closer.
If you look at it from a distance, you will find new colors that are mixed and produced.
And the part that is gripped every day will gradually peel off its color over time, and a gentle color stratum that is different from the expression carved with a chisel will appear.
