海にまつわる鉄の道具を叩いて再構築した壁面レリーフ。沖縄の空を飛翔するカンムリワシがモチーフとなっている。メイン素材として、素潜り漁などで用いられる銛（モリ）を選んだ。ギリシャ神話の海神ポセイドンも愛用した、象徴的な「海にまつわる道具」である。また、銛は視覚的に、鳥類の羽やカンムリワシの「冠」のイメージを作りやすいシルエットでもあった。
Spilornis cheela

A wall relief that was reconstructed by hitting iron tools related to the sea. The motif of this work is a crested serpent eagle flying in the sky of Okinawa. I chose harpoon, as the main material. The harpoon is a symbolic “tool related to the sea” that was used by Poseidon, the sea god of Greek mythology. Also, the silhouette of the harpoon made it easy to create the image of a bird’s feather or a “crown” of a crested serpent eagle.
