クロガネは舞う

 遠目には、平面的な根と立体的な枝葉。両者が対比する姿からは、色々なストーリーが連想できる。
例えば地下と地上、もしくは人工物と自然物、あるいは過去と未来かもしれない。
近付くと、マテリアルが「かつて道具だった鉄の何か」であることに気づく。古道具たちは熱され叩かれ、次第に機能から解放されていく。そしてのびのびと踊り始めながらストーリーの登場人物となり、この地に訪れる人々を歓迎するだろう。

※作品名のクロガネとは鉄を意味する古い言葉。金をコガネ、銀をシロガネ、銅をアカガネなど、色で分類した呼び方があった。

Dancing Iron

GRAND GREEN OSAKA South Building 3F / Osaka

From a distance, the flat roots and three-dimensional branches and leaves. The contrast between the two can be associated with various stories.
For example, it could be underground and above ground, or man-made and natural objects, or the past and the future.
As you approach, you realise that the material is ‘something made of iron that was once a tool’. The old tools are heated, beaten and gradually freed from their function. They become characters in the story and welcome visitors to the area as they begin to dance spontaneously.
