ぺちゃんこにするワークショップ in なんだかんだ9

2024年に個展を行なった神田ポートのはす向かい。株式会社ゆかいが主催する路上イベント「なんだかんだ9」に参加し、廃材をぺちゃんこにするワークショップを開催した。15年以上続けてきた恒例の企画だが、今回の会場は神田税務署の敷地内という絶妙なミスマッチ感。あそこでコークスを焚いていいのだろうかと半信半疑の中、ゆかいマネージャー・小林知典氏の活躍のおかげで実現。安全第一をモットーに、新たに鉄板で炉や金床のカバーを制作して臨んだ。

The site is just across the street from Kanda Port, where he held a solo exhibition in 2024. We participated in the street event “Nanda-Kanda 9” organized by YUKAI Co., Ltd. and held a workshop to flatten scrap. While we were skeptical about whether it would be appropriate to burn coke there, thanks to the efforts of Yukai manager Tomonori Kobayashi, we were able to make the event a reality. With safety first and foremost as our motto, we created new covers for the furnace and anvil out of iron sheets.
